Overview

Sasha, a reclusive biologist, lives in the border town of Primorsk, isolated from the world and her conflicted relationship with her businesswoman mother. Her solitude at the biostation is disrupted by a meeting with 8-year—old Asya, a smiling schoolgirl whose notebooks are covered with disturbing drawings, and traces of beatings are hidden under her clothes. When the situation in the girl's family becomes unbearable, Sasha takes the desperate step of organizing their escape, carefully covering their tracks.
