Born in San Francisco, California, USA — Feb 25 1907• Died May 02 1982

Wini Shaw (often credited as Winifred Shaw) was an American singer, dancer, and stage and screen actress. She is today best remembered for introducing the song "Lullaby of Broadway" in the 1935 film Gold Diggers of 1935. Despite it today sometimes being stated that her maiden name was Momi, it was, in fact, Shaw (corresponding with the last name of her parents and all her siblings).
