Catherine Castel was born Catherine Marie Simone Tricot. As an actress, she appeared in several films throughout her career, most notably, those directed by Jean Rollin, including "La vampire nue", "Tout le monde il en a deux", "Lèvres de sang" and "Phantasmes", as well as a number of adult films, and after a long-standing hiatus, would appear with Rollin again in her final film role "La fiancée de Dracula", before retiring.
