Wanchana Sawasdee, nicknamed Bird, is a Thai colonel (soldier) and actor born in Lampang, Thailand. His father, Colonel Aranya Sawat, was a Thai of Chinese descent, and his mother, Narumon Sawasdee, was a Thai of Indian descent. The family later moved to Kanchanaburi.
