He grew up in Folsom, California, with his veterinarian parents and his sister, Caitlin Barrett. He is perhaps best known as the voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost in Casper's Haunted Christmas and as Chris Carson in the 1997 film Casper: A Spirited Beginning.
