An Egyptian actor, born on July 22, 1912, to a middle-class rural family in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. He obtained his baccalaureate from Khedive Ismail School in 1938, and worked in the Forensic Medicine Authority for a salary of seven pounds. He also worked at the Ministry of Education.
