Marcelo Ribeiro, born in 1970, is a Brazilian actor best known for his role as Hugo, the pre-adolescent protagonist in Walter Hugo Khouri's acclaimed 1982 film *Love Strange Love*, where he starred alongside Vera Fischer and Xuxa. Ribeiro began his acting career in 1981 with *Eros, the God of Love*, also directed by Khouri, and later appeared in *Sin Horizontal*.
