Martha Vourtsis (Athens, 12 October 1937) is a Greek actress. Her mother was a painter and her father Michalis Vourtsis a conductor, one of the founders of the Opera in 1942. Her family settled from Odessa in Athens. She herself received a strict Russian upbringing. She appeared in several films, mainly performing dramatic roles in the so-called "melo" of the era, (She Who Did Not Bend, Great is the Grief, Outcasts of Society, My Heart Stops Paining, With Pain and Tears), but also in films of different genres, such as The Yellow Gloves and The Tough Man…
